Who we are

Entee is an AI companion app built by a small Australian team. It is designed to be used directly by people living with dementia, memory loss, or cognitive decline — as well as by their carers and families. That said, anyone will find Entee useful — whether you want to keep an eye on your investment portfolio, search for information, talk through what's on your mind on the drive home, or simply have an app that remembers everything you tell it and builds a long-term memory that grows with you.

Who may use this app

Entee can be used directly by an individual, or set up and managed by a family member or carer on behalf of someone they support. Where a carer manages the account on behalf of another person, they are responsible for ensuring that use of the app is in that person's best interest.

What we store in the cloud

When an account is created and Entee is used, we store:

This information is stored on secure servers so your experience is consistent and your memory is preserved across sessions, devices, and time.

What stays on your device

Voice audio is processed on-device and is not sent to or stored on our servers.

Live price data for investments is fetched directly on your device from third-party financial data providers.

Third-party AI processing

When a message is sent to Entee — whether typed or spoken — the text of that message and relevant conversation context is sent to a third-party AI model provider (currently OpenRouter, which routes to models such as those provided by Anthropic, Google, and others) to generate a response. Only conversation content is shared — never your name, email address, or account details.

Live web search

Entee is connected to live web search via Sonar. When you ask a question that requires current or external information — such as weather, news, medication details, or share prices — your query may be sent to Sonar to retrieve a real-time answer. As with AI processing, only the text of your question is sent, never your personal account details.

Apple CarPlay

When Entee is used via Apple CarPlay, voice input is processed on-device by Apple's speech recognition before being passed to Entee as text. Audio is not stored by Entee. Please refer to Apple's privacy policy for information about how CarPlay and on-device speech recognition handle audio data.

Long-term memory

Unlike most AI apps, Entee retains memory of your conversations across sessions. This means details you share — names, preferences, routines, and personal context — are stored and used to make future conversations more relevant and useful to you. This memory is yours. You can delete it entirely at any time from Settings.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — including memories, conversation history, notes, and portfolio information — is permanently and immediately deleted from our systems.

AI limitations and accuracy

Entee uses artificial intelligence to generate answers and suggestions. While we work hard to make Entee helpful and reliable, it can sometimes be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. You should not rely on Entee for medical, legal, financial, or safety‑critical decisions without checking information with a qualified professional or trusted source.

Children

Entee is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16 without carer supervision.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means acceptance of the updated policy.
